Taste of Elegance



For the past 4 years Chef Kahre has been participating in the Tennessee Pork Producers Taste of Elegance competition. This year our beloved chef placed 2nd amongst the other 9 entrants. Rick’s entry this year was a Hawaiian Pork Luau with a Pineapple Sake Sauce, Fried Bananas, and a Hawaiian Rice Pilaf.

“I wanted to put my best effort forward this year. I practiced my dish and prepared it in front of a group prior to the competition. Their reviews of my final product made me more focused and were an attribute to my success. I am very excited about my 2nd place finish and look forward to next years competition.” - Rick Kahre
